      Aim. Explore stages of family planning service development and particulars of contraception aid to population of Republic of Tajikistan.

      Materials and methods. Normative and legal documents, annual reports of reproductive health centers, materials of science conferences and historic statements were analyzed.

      Results. In this article, the historical data on development of contraception aid in Tajikistan for the past 25 years were presented. It is established that first specialized state consultations on family planning in country were organized in 1990 as “Family Health Consultation”.

      We analyzed the statistical materials of the Republican Center of medical statistics and in¬formation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan, the data of annual reports of the Khujand regional and district Centers of Reproductive health, as well as the data of annual reports of obstetrical establishments of the Sughd region in 1995-2011. Found a low level of contraceptive use among women of childbearing age Sughd region. The Revealed existence of significant differences both across regions, and on the socio -demographic population groups in regard to the prevalence of contraception in General and the structure of the used funds.

    • Medical and social characteristics of women with cervical pathological processes at their different life periods

      Thus, conducted research has let to provide medical and social characteristics of women of reproductive age with pathological processes of the cervix, which is represented by housewives (68.8%), repeated (37.3%) – and multiparous (39.6%), with low health index, frequent to abortion (48.8%), those who do not use barrier methods of contraception (83.1%) and those with Cancer history (10.1%). Particular at risk group for the development of pathological processes of the cervix, are sexually active adolescents, which typically have dishormonal disorders and early occurrence of inflammatory processes of the lower part of the genitals. The high frequency of hyperplastic processes in women of late reproductive age is a risk factor for precancerous cervical disease. The main factors determining the development of pathological processes in the cervical region of high fertility are: early sexual activity (22.9%), change of sexual partners (11.4%),

      Population health depends on influence socially-hygienic and economic factors. In uncomfortable living conditions lives more than 92,0 % of patients. Of the general quantity of respondents of 87,8 % make sick of unsatisfactory vital conditions. Security a floor space below a sanitary code, (less than 9 sq.m. on one person), the monthly income below a living wage and patients basically from large families. Growth of number of the unemployed, the big density and the low monthly income contribute to higher growth and prevalence of disease of a tuberculosis.
