REIDREDUCING EFFICIENCY OF THE TOOTHPASTES IN DEPENDING OF LOCATIONS OF THE EDGE OF METALCERAMIC CROWN

Aim. Preventive maintenance prosthetic's gingivitis in system of metalceramic designs with use of fermentcontaining toothpastes.
Materials and methods. In clinical test of fermentcontaining toothpastes participated 40 volunteers with presence of metal-ceramic prosthetic device and alike level hygienic skill, which were used toothpastes to lines of Lacalut Brilliant White Classic (20) and Lacalut Brilliant White Menta (20). Volunteers were examined at the beginning initially examinations, through 7, 21 and 30 days under one and same condition. Standard judgment of cleaning characteristic of the toothpastes is a change amount soft teeth raid before and after the cleaning teeth and supraconstruction element.
Results. Was revealed that efficiency of the use the hygienic facilities depends on level of the location of the edge of metal-ceramic crown. Beside persons with location of the edge of metalceramic crown at a rate of gum condition hygiene of oral cavity corresponds to the satisfactory level, and using of toothpastes reduced on no presence stone supraconstruction element of the metalceramic prosthetic device in contrast with source value. At subgingival location edges of metalceramic crown possibility formation of mineralized sediment increases realistically that finally disadvantage influences upon raidreducing efficiency of the used toothpastes. In spite of good hygienic care of oral cavity, the subgingival location of the edge of the crown creates artificial retention area, favoring concourses of the raid, as well as less happy circumstances for increasing of hygienic efficiency of the toothpastes.
Conclusion. Efficiency of the improvement hygiene of oral cavity in group of the examined persons with presence of supragingival locations of the edge metalceramic crowns for 30 days following realization professional hygiene of oral cavity have formed 89,70%. Beside person with subgingival location of the edge of the crown importance efficiency of the used facilities formed 58,96%.
